Greenhouse whitening and shading is one of the most demanding and time-consuming tasks for professional growers. Proper shading is essential for maintaining the ideal temperature inside the greenhouse, especially during the summer months, protecting crops from excessive solar radiation and heat stress.
Traditionally, the application of shading materials requires many labor hours, specialized equipment, and work at height, increasing operational costs, reducing application speed, and creating safety risks for workers. In addition, uneven coverage can negatively affect shading efficiency and overall crop protection.
The new generation of DJI AGRAS agricultural drones provides an innovative solution, completely transforming the greenhouse shading process. With high spraying precision, fast coverage speed, and extremely uniform application, DJI AGRAS drones offer significant savings in both time and labor costs while improving operational efficiency.
DJI AGRAS drones can cover large greenhouse surfaces in a very short time, drastically reducing labor requirements and ensuring consistent application results. At the same time, their automated operation enhances safety by minimizing the need for workers to operate at dangerous heights or difficult access points.
More specifically, the new DJI AGRAS T100, equipped with a 100-liter tank, as well as the DJI AGRAS T50 with its 40-liter tank, have already demonstrated in real-world conditions that, when combined with the proper dilution of the recommended shading material, they can effectively meet the demanding requirements of greenhouse shading applications.
